Jesse grew up in the small, rural town of Charlotte County and moved to the “big city” of Richmond, Va., where she earned a psychology degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. After stints as a waitress and in-home counselor, Jesse stumbled into her career in the world of mortgage.
Using every drop of experience from the service and counseling fields, she found her passion walking people through the biggest investment and transition of their lives – buying a home. Jesse helps families feel confident and achieve their goals of home ownership and wealth-building.
Ten years later, led with creativity, knowledge, and a servant’s heart, Jesse consistently aims to make the home buying purchase even better for her team and clients.
As a homeowner and mom of two girls under three, Jesse understands the significance of what a home means, and the empowering feeling that you are making the best decisions for your family.
When she’s not helping people buy homes or assisting in leading an amazing team, Jesse can be found somewhere outside, spending time with family, listening to music, cooking, or practicing yoga (or stacking as many of these as possible at one time!)
Who is someone you admire, and why?
This one is hard because there are so many and for different reasons. I admire my work teammates, Rocky Balboa, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Jesus, and more. I need more space…
If you could become an expert in something, what would it be?
The human mind. I’m absolutely fascinated by it.
Do you collect anything?
The old school little jelly jars to drink from. If you see one at Goodwill, pick it up for me please.
What is a superpower you wish you had and a superpower you’d hate to have?
I wish I could be in two places at once. I’d hate to be like the Hulk and physically change when angered.
What is your favorite food to make?
Healthy muffins that my daughter thinks are “cookies”.
What is one thing you’ve learned that you wish you could tell your younger self?
Embrace and love who you are.
